Journal of the 10th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry kept by Sergeant Major W.C. O'Kane records daily activities, administration, orders, and special events at Camp Bushnell in Columbus, Camp Meade in Harrisburg, Pa., and Camp Makenzie in Augusta, Ga. The 10th Ohio Regiment was under the command of Col. Henry A. Axline and part of the United States Army 2nd Brigade, 1st Division with 1st Connecticut, 3rd Virginia, 1st New Jersey, 35th Michigan, and 1st Maryland regiments.
